MR. YUJI KATO

Mr. Kato has over 20 years of experience in the PE/VC industry. Previously, he served as the COO/CIO of Cool Japan Fund, a governmental overseas investment arm. He also held the position of Head of the Japan office at Permira Advisers, where he led buyout investments totaling over $3 billion USD in Japan.

Additionally, Mr. Kato was the Head of Asia Business Development at GE Healthcare, where he led various healthcare technology investments and facilitated commercial deals in both Japan and China. He embarked on his career in the Japanese government and was later seconded to the OECD in France.

Mr. Kato holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Economics from Kyoto University, as well as an MBA from Yale University.
