SAMPSON LAU

Sampson Lau joined Delos Capital in 2018 and has over 8 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity and life sciences investment. Prior to Delos, Sampson was a Vice President at Great Wall WL Ross Fund, a global mid-market buyout fund co-owned by WL Ross & Co. (private equity arm of Invesco) and China Great Wall AMC. Previously, Sampson was an Associate at a Hong Kong based international private equity firm, focusing on buyout and growth capital investments in sectors including technology, media, real estate, retail and natural resources with total deal value of over US$3 billion. Sampson started his career in the Investment Banking Division of the Royal Bank of Scotland, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Prior to joining Delos, Sampson participated in life sciences venture investments in a personal capacity, which include Potrero Medical (2018’s Fierce 15 Medtech) and Excision BioTherapeutics (CRISPR gene editing therapeutics platform for viral diseases).
