LEE COOPER

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Lee Cooper joined Delos Capital as a Managing Director in 2024. He focuses on advancing novel medicines that improve the lives of patients, bringing 14+ years of experience in the life sciences as an investor, operator, and advisor.

Before joining Delos, Lee was with Leaps by Bayer where he led several investments and served as board director or observer for companies including Recursion Pharmaceuticals and Capstan Therapeutics. Prior to investing, Lee founded a rare disease-focused genomic diagnostic company as an entrepreneur-in-residence at RA Capital and worked on vaccines and therapeutics in corporate development at Moderna Therapeutics.

Lee lives with his family in Arlington, MA and teaches courses on bio-innovation at Tufts University and Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College. His writing on topics related to patient-centered medicine has appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, Wired, STAT, and other outlets. He holds a bachelor of arts in Religion from Dartmouth College and an MBA and JD from Columbia University.
